It's been a long, cold and snowy winter. But the last week and a half there's been this bright yellow ball up in the sky, and the ground is brown now, not white any more. There's still ice on the lake every morning, but a parka isn't necessary any more. That can only mean one thing. Racing season is here! That's right. Get out the hoodies, find the riding gear, dig the helmet out of the garage. Fill the gas can, fire up that little monster, and get her ready to rip. The Sho-Me State Pitbike Series is back again for the third season, and the first race is just two weeks away. Sunday, March 21 we will descend on Highway 65 MX in Sedalia, MO for the first round. It's probably still going to be chilly, since Global Warming has been going so well, but get ready for a day of bar-banging, mudslinging, roost throwing fun. The schedule has been posted for some time, as have the new classes. We have changed the class structure slightly. There is no longer a 50cc 2-stroke racebike class for season points, and there are some tweaks to the other classes. The rulebook will be available for download soon. We also have a new series sponsor to announce, Creative Car Audio. Look for more news from them in the future. Thanks guys! Here's an image of the flyer we'll be distributing soon.
